Back to Inokashira park for another hanami party. All the usual suspects...... SAG crew, Mhak, Ogi, Ruma, Keito, Maki, Yoshi, Aki and a ton of others.

First Hanami Parties of the Season

First cherry blossoms popped in Inokashira park this week. Yoko, Shohei, Tenga, Imaone, Maru, Masashi, Aya, Naoka and bunch more folks came out celebrate.
Then onto Momo Curry in Kichijoji.

Belmont Garage

Tenga, Shohei and Imaone painted the Belmont Garage today. The Belmont Garage is a local legal graffiti spot. They saw all forms of weather today....... snow, rain, cold and sun. Nothing stopped them. In the end the building turned out beautifully. I need to thank everyone who helped the boys out during their stay in Portland. Especially Paige at Breeze Block, Six, Tour and Brian. They rolled out the rose red carpet.

Secret Undisclosed Location

The guys were invited to paint in south west Portland tonight with local writer TOUR. It's really interesting to witness these guys getting to paint in a foreign environment. For the first hour it seems really uncomfortable. I could see them trying to figure out how to make their style fit with TOUR's work that was already up. It does not help that there is a bit of a language barrier. Just when it seemed like it would not work out, they start painting. Just like magic....... suddenly the art started to flow. Otuya opening kicked ass

Last nights opening was spectacular. The biggest attendance of the year. Shohei's mother flew over from Tokyo for the show. The website will be updated with photos soon. Here is a few pics. Thanks to everyone that came out to support the boys from Tokyo.

First day of wall painting for Otuya show.

Tenga, Shohei and Imaone arrived from Tokyo on Sunday and got to work. They are painting two walls in the gallery for this weeks First Thursday opening. The wall already looks amazing and so does all of the art they brought.
