Spirit Flyer with Zach Johnsen & MHAK - report #1

Mhak is back in Portland from Tokyo to work on a collaboration show with local hero Zach Johnsen. Mhak is working in Zach's studio on a few collab pieces. A ton of work to finish before next Thursdays opening.

While at Zach's I got a chance to see some of Blaine Fontana's work he is preparing for his June 19th show at Compound.

Augustus Tokyo is Good

Some friends of mine opened this cafe in Todamai at the end of last year. It's a beautiful cafe. The best cup of coffee in Tokyo. If your in the Shibuya area, go say hi to Hikari and Mariko.

Every second Friday Live & Direct happens at Rotture. Keys, mpc's and Dj's Rev Shines, Slimkid Tre and Dj Nature provide the music. Jun and Que from Tokyo provided the art.......

Nike Idea Lab painting with Que & Jun

The boys just finished two days on the Nike campus creating a beautiful piece for the Idea Lab.

Great opening last night. For a couple guys who don't speak a lot of English they did alright with all the people that want to chat them up. Aftewards they did an amazing painting at Yes&No.... Thanks to everyone that came out to both events.

Opening this Thursday is Hana to Diamond featuring Houxo Que and Jun Inoue from Tokyo Japan. Join us for an exhibition of contemporary, organic, geometric painting from Tokyo Japan. Reception starts @ 6.
