Thursday was another super night at Compound. The economy be damned! Ippei and Joe made some incredible art. It was a beautiful spring night in Portland and hundreds of people came out to show their love for the artists. It was the first time that I had back to back shows with Japanese artists. Both shows were a great success. This year I want to keep pushing forward in promoting Japanese artists as well as artists from all over the world. It's been really positive so far. Upcoming this year we have some awesome artists from Japan. Look for shows with Rei Mochizuki, Hooky, Kana Ohtsuki, Katsuya Terada and "strange bedfellows" Japanese/American collaboration show.
